9 Hole Golf Courses Are Ideal For The Busy Golfer
The typical 18 hole, full-sized golf course can take several hours (sometimes 5 or more) to play through, especially if you’re playing with a large group. For the busy golfer or if you’re tired of spending most of your Saturday waiting to play each hole, consider a 9 hole course. Usually, you can play in 2 to 3 hours.
For many golfers, especially beginners, the 9 hole course can offer more fun and enjoyment while in the learning phase of the game.
On the other hand, non-beginners who have busy lives, family obligations or whose careers have tough time demands, the 9 hole course can be a more realistic option when trying to get in a decent game. For golfers in these categories, it’s just not practical to spend 5 to 7 hours playing a full 18 hole course.
Another tip to consider… Even if you prefer playing on an 18 hole course, consider playing on a 9 hole course on the weekends. Generally, these courses are not as busy as the 18 hole courses. You’ll also have more time to concentrate on improving your game skills.
