Learn This Dynamic Golf Warm Up Exercise To Avoid Early Round Blow-ups
How many times have you rushed to hole number one from the parking lot and proceed to bogey or double bogey the hole? The reason. You skipped your golf warm up exercise!
Treat yourself like any athlete would. That is…warm up your body specific to golf to get maximum results. A body that’s not warmed up will NEVER play well. In fact, you will waste the first few holes, as they become your warm-up, but at the cost of many strokes.
Give yourself 5 minutes! That’s all you need to do a couple of simple, golf warm up exercises that will get you looser than you’ve ever felt at the beginning of the round.
When I say warm up, I’m not talking about hacking at golf balls. I’m talking about getting your blood flowing BEFORE you even hit one ball! Take this advice, and you’ll be blowing your foursome away from the first hole on!
One great exercise to do is depicted in this picture. Grabbing your 5 iron, getting a wide grip on the shaft, then getting in your golf posture making swing fluidly back and forth, taking it farther and farther on both the backswing and follow through.

This one simple warm up exercise specific to your golf swing will free the tension from the muscles specifically involved in your golf swing. Give it a try!
